Description:
Identification Notes:

Soft, spongy, \\'cheesy\\' bracket or shelf-like polypore. Fruitbody off-white or pale blue-gray, staining or ageing blueish. Dries hard and brittle. Pores medium sized, round to angular. On dead conifers and hardwoods, causing brown rot.
